There’s a pink diamond path
That leads straight to heaven
I arrive instantly
As my eyes follow it

And, suddenly, all of the nature that stirred
Pauses with me — every crab, every bird
Every machine now rests on the sea
And humans on land settle in peace

Maybe five minutes pass and we stir again
Our visions deliver a new set of plans

I look to my left to gaze at the future
Where reflective cranes are erecting its structures
And white cranes rest atop Everest pines
Like the North Star at Christmas time
There, they too are making their plans
As they scan and survey ripe land

Whether the towers deliver me
Or simply deliver to me my dreams
I gaze in awe to recognize
My great fortune for this place, this time
